Description
Aptly known as the bridge to nowhere because it leads the highway to the oil sands, this highway bridge lies high above the athabasca river in northern alberta. In the brief weeks of fall, fog rises daily out of the river and creates a ghostly silhouette image of the bridge disappearing into the fog. Similar to a vision of a coastal town, fog is rare and captivating in Fort McMurray Alberta.
This bridge is located near the oil sands mines in Fort McKay area of wood buffalo, just outside of wood buffalo national park
This is one of many street art and urban scenes in my collection of Fort Mcmurray and travel galleries, please take a moment to view some other images.
