A CAT excavator takes a rest in a large construction zone in the booming alberta town of Fort McMurray. These machines work day and night to fuel the demand for housing in the booming oil town.
CAT mining and construction equipment makes up approximately 80 percent of the heavy equipment fleets used in the tar sands industry.These machines represent over half of the jobs in the entire oil sands industry in Canada.
CAT or Caterpillar is a popular american brand and very collectible in art form and die cast models.

Oh hey, I remember seeing this type of excavation machine from a plant hire that my uncle hired. He mainly hired the machine to excavate some trenches for an irrigation work of his.
